What is an e-mail alias?

    An e-mail alias is one or more additional names that direct mail to an e-mail address. For example, if your e-mail address is jsmith@yourdomain.com, you can create aliases john@yourdomain.com, johnsmith@yourdomain.com and john-smith@yourdomain.com to deliver mail to your jsmith@yourdomain.com mailbox.
