How do I setup Microsoft Outlook 2007 to read my email?

Follow these steps:

    1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
    2. Click on the Tools menu.
    3. Select Account Settings.

    1. Select New.

    1. Put a check in the box next to Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
    2. Click the Next button.

    1. Click the radio button next to Internet Email.
    2. Click the Next button.

    1. Type the name to display on outgoing mail messages in the Your Name field.
    2. Type the email address being set up in the Email Address field. For example, johnsmith@att.net.
    3. Choose POP3 from the Account Type field.
    4. Type mail.hostdepot.com in the Incoming mail server field.
    5. Type smtp.hostdepot.com in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field.
    6. Type the full email address in the User Name field, including domain. For example, johnsmith@att.net.
    7. Type the account password in the Password field.
    8. Put a check in the box next to Remember Password.
    9. Select the button for More Settings.

    1. Choose the Outgoing Server tab.
    2. Make sure the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked.
    3. Click the OK button.

    1. Click the Finish button.
