To resolve this error message, please follow these steps:

  1. Open your mail client.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Email Accounts.
  3. Select View or change existing email accounts, then click Next.





  4. Select your mail account and click Change.

      



  5. Click the More Settings button.



       

  6. Under the Outgoing Server tab, check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.





  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Next, then Finish.

You should now be able to send your email successfully.
