CAPTCHA

A CAPTCHA (an acronym for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a program that protects websites against bots by generating and grading tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot. You may have seen one before. It is usually a series of mixed up characters that you have to enter to proceed on some websites.

Ever wonder why the email address listed there receives a lot of SPAM? Spammers or bots can glean that information from the form.
A best practice to guard against a spammer or bot harvesting your email address is that the recipient email address within the form be encoded.
