Technical Support Associate I
Location: Coral Springs, FL
Shift/Hours: Full and Part-Time Weekday and Weekend Shifts
Qualified applicants will possess the following minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Good communication skills for customer service
- Friendly and considerate attitude
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Basic knowledge of the Internet
- Basic knowledge of e-mail
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Answer incoming technical support phone calls from customers.
- Answer incoming technical support e-mail messages from customers.
- Research and troubleshoot customer technical support issues.
- Provide customers with comprehensive answers to technical support questions.
- Guide customers through step-by-step solutions to technical support issues.
Additional Information:
- Bi-lingual a plus (not required)
- This position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on training in
troubleshooting and problem-solving for one or more of the following Internet
technologies:
- HTML
- FTP
- E-mail protocols including SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4
- Domain Registration
- DNS
- Microsoft Windows 2000 networking
- Microsoft IIS web server configuration
- Web site design and development
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft FrontPage
- Microsoft Visual InterDev
- Technical support and problem-solving skills
